The www.seething.org.uk website has been around for over five years - in fact one of the first village sites on-line for the county of Norfolk. It contains suggestions and material from about eight parishioners and has had just under 1,500 hits during the past twelve months, some of the most interesting being from the University of Tel Aviv as a consequence of an educational link we made some years back and as a result of this Seething is in one of their their standard geography text books as an example of an English village.

Station 146 Tower Association

Visit the Station 146 Control Tower website. Seething WWII Control Tower has been restored as a living memorial to the Americans who were based in Seething. Special Open Days on first Sundays in the months May to Oct, have on display 448th Bomb Group memorabilia, photographs and personal stories. It is cared for by the Station 146 Tower Association which has 600 members, many in America. To join and receive 3 newsletters a year costs £5pa.

The Norwich Astronomical Society (NAS) was founded in Norwich, UK, in 1945. It's mission is to promote and advance the science of astronomy. Public events are intended to both educate and entertain our many visitors.

The Society currently has over 100 members many of whom meet every Friday evening at the Seething Astronomical Observatory. Although Friday evenings are our club nights, we always make visitors welcome, so if it is clear please feel free to come along and visit us.

Waveney Flying Group

Visit the WFG Website at http://www.seething-airfield.co.uk/

Waveney Flying Group was founded in July 1960 by Jimmy Hoseason, Dickie Boulter, Gordon Craik and Bill Wix. At first the disused USAAF airbase was leased from local farmers and it took four months to clear the runway of rubble and scrap. The first aircraft leased was a Miles Messenger, costing £4 per hour to fly.
