Tree Warden

November 2004 - I am pleased to report that Roma Beardsell has been appointed as the new Village Tree Warden in Brooke to replace Mark Dickie, who moved form the area.  Roma has been active in promoting several important trees in the area and we are fortunate that she is able to take on this role in our village, particularly in the conservation area, where it is unlawful to fell a tree greater than 6-inch diameter without approval.
