From Parish Council Minutes 7th June 2004: " Footpaths: Graham Harber had requested clarity on which footpaths were his responsibility and which were Richard and Stephanie Cromes. The Clerk suggested a natural division could be made along Whiteheath Road with the Cromes looking after the northern paths (nos. 1,2,3,4,6, 9,11,13 and 15) and Graham looking after the southern paths (nos. 7,8,10 and 12.) This was agreed by the Council and Graham Harber who was present."

Thurton & Bergh Apton Players

snip from the players' website http://www.thurtonplayers.co.uk/
"Thurton and Bergh Apton players were first formed in 1978. Their first ever production was the ever popular farce, "Sailor Beware" and was directed by Ray Wharton, who has been the resident director ever since. After twelve years producing many successful plays, the Thurton and Bergh Apton Players had a crack at their first pantomime. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and now specialise only in full blown musicals. With a wealth of talent and experience, their shows are always well polished and are always well supported by the local communities. 2003 marks their 25th Anniversary."
