Parish Council

In Kirstead, there is no formally appointed or elected parish council but instead a six-monthly Parish Meeting to which all members of the parish are entitled to attend. Charles Birch is the Chairman.

The Parish has a modest Party & Social Fund [about £400 per year] that arose from a charitable donation some years ago. It can only be spent on social activities for the Village. Every other year-or-so, the Party Committee organises a Village Party.

St Margaret's Kirstead

Howard Robson was installed as Vicar in Brooke Church on 22nd January 2004, succeeding Peter Halls, who retired at Easter 2003.
