The Official Seething Web-Site
John Goldsmith [Editor] writes [18th May 2003]
The www.seething.org.uk website has been around for over five years - in fact one of the first village sites on-line for the county of Norfolk. It contains suggestions and material from about eight parishioners and has had just under 1,500 hits during the past twelve months, some of the most interesting being from the University of Tel Aviv as a consequence of an educational link we made some years back and as a result of this Seething is in one of their their standard geography text books as an example of an English village.

This school house, situated within sight of the church, is constructed from “clay-lump” walls and has a reed thatched roof, making it an unique school structure, as far as we know, in East Anglia. Built around the middle of the 1800’s, its first ‘school log’, still in existence, records events there during the year 1874. It currently has 79 children aged from 4 to 11 years, a head teacher, 2 full time teachers, 2 part time and a number of ancillary staff from within the village.
School children use church at Seething for Carol Service and at Mundham for Harvest Festival. Vicar attends fortnightly for assembly. School Orchestra rehearses after school. Stages opera in Village Hall (new extension will help enormously for changing). After school French Club, Cricket and Football coaching.
